Kirsten van AalstRegistered Architect, Associate Professor. B.Arch., Penn State, 1990; M.S. in Advanced Architectural Design, Columbia, 1993. Kirsten teaches design at all levels, and seminars in theory, design process and modern Dutch architecture. 

Almost equally focused on her firm’s practice and her teaching, she is also interested in the parallels between the pedagogy of the early education programs of Reggio Emilia and that of the collegiate level study of architecture.
