"I spent seven days out of my element with four very talented peers and ….that were not only open to discussion and willing to teach, but also eager to learn. It was both refreshing and encouraging. I was able to find skills that I didn’t even know I had, learn how to use them and learn how to love them. I am more aware of the importance of knowing how to sketch quickly and accurately in the design field, and know that I have gained the confidence to record my surroundings. My abilities can only improve."

Drawing every line with a purpose, as Professor Leytham pushed me to do, allowed me to pay more attention to detail and accuracy. The experience that I was able to have with a variety of materials, medias and techniques taught me that even if I am not as good with some medias, it is still good to have a library of skills. It was fun to learn from each other, and the small group allowed for the perfect environment for learning. In one word, the course was INSPIRING."
